probalign software package provides multiple sequence alignment using partition function posterior probabilities, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install probalign
probalign is installed in your system.
Make ensure the probalign package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep probalign *
You will get with probalign package name, version, architecture and description in a table
